well i finally did it!. now i have myself a sweet cb. ill post pics soon. i got the cobra 29 ltd classic. im very happy with it. although, i need a PA speaker now..heh, ill post pictures as soon as i can. quick question though..my swr is about 1.8.....can i get by with that?

1.8 is fine, but on what/which channel(s)?. Under 2:1 on all channels is what you're striving for.

Normally check channels 1, 20 & 40 and note the SWR's on each of those. Try to get them all under 2:1.

Doink, I was thinking of your CB the other day when I was cleaning my interior since your CB is the same as mine almost.

ha, nah, i havent gotten the film developed yet. but, heh, i will eventually get it, and show what it looks like.
