i got one free today seen it sitting in the metal section of the recycling center... not sure why the would throw it out its still very usable its the older style i think its chrome and looks pretty nice now how do i go about installing it

 

i think i need the Gutter less Mount Kit ? and it seems its missing the little hooks on the ends ?

 

Yea your gonna need to get the kit I tryed to mount my KC HIGHLIGHTER bar without it and no go so this is the kit I got for mine.

 

thanks for the pic just what i need is more lights not sure the stock alternator can handle anymore already got a set of 200w hella 700s up front now all i gotta do is order the bracket then find thos little hook things

 

Doesn't Thule or Yakima make gutter mounts??...not sure if they are compatible for what you are using, but it might. Yakima also has Q-towers that, if you have a round bar, slides securely inside and you can use your stock rails.

 

I think you can get the mounts at summit racing, but im not sure.

 

how much can the stock alternator handle ?

 

a lot since texas_ace has like 18 lights

 

I run 8 130 watt lights and my stereo as long as I don't sit and Idle to long it keeps up pretty well. Just the same I will be running all my lights and stereo off my second battery here real soon.
