Cap wiring...
Hey all,
Fixing to wire up sons sound sytem. KNow this is a tech forum but figure someone will be able to answer question. 2 - alpine 12" wolfs in banpass enclosure, hifonics 1500 watt amp, rock fos 1 farad cap - which I have a question.
Is the cap wired in series or parallel with the 1 ought power wire? Cap wiring shows parallel but cant figure why the cap wires are only 12 gauge.
Thanks all. Am installing tomorrow.

I didn't make this but here is a pic that will help you.
This is a quote from street wires.
How should I charge and discharge the Capacitor?
For charging, you’ll find a resistor included in the packaging to place in your fuse holder before attaching the cap to the system. For Discharging, span the resistor between the positive and negative leads.
