Metallic? Semi? Ceramic?
New? They are only 9.2mm thick from the plate backing.
Made in Canada? Any identifies if they are quality?

You might try to see if a small magnet will stick to the friction material. I noticed that on a set of semi metalic that a vinyl magnet would stick whereas it would not to an organic friction material.

Nope, no sticking. I'm pretty sure they are ceramics since they are very light, barely tan color.
I put them in already, had 8mm left on old ones, and these are much firmer so they must be ceramic.

They are either organic or ceramic pads because even the semi-metalic you will see little shiny areas on the pads. My be would be ceramic as well since the little brown specs are not usually in a regular organic pad and those pads appear lighter in color than usual as well. Some manufacturers use different compounds so it is tough to tell for sure.

Stumbled across the answer....TS C
Trustar ( a marketing conglomerate )
Cermamic ( what the C means )
Trustar is a marketing company and doesn't manufacture anything. They rebadge and distribute.
If I were to make a slightly educated guess, I'd say these were built by Bendix.
