This is a stupid question but i figureed it wa worth a shot, is there anything i can do to make that whien louder, or so it can be heard easier from the outside like people hear it as im driving by or somtthing. i just love that sound. i know that on my old 88 Celica Turbo i had sound deafening stuff on the bottom of my hood, after i ripped that off, my turbo was much louder. donno if the tacoma's have it though. otherwise, if you really wanna scare someone, just wait till a nice summer night and take the hood off :p

You could do the intake silencer removal mod, and open up the air box, that should make it louder.

Disconnect the oil line - it'll get plenty loud before it siezes up...

Loud might be what you want now but I'd bet in the long run it'll get old and maybe you won't want the attention but my guess is you're young and you want it.

Probably true but a supercharger whine is a sweet sound, especially if they don't hear it until AFTER you blast pass them..

you could run something like a k/n FIPK or something that will get rid of the little resonator on the intake plumbing. it should definetely make it louder.

A smaller pulley on the 'charger will make it a little louder. And, depending on where you live, you'll get another annoyance....more power!

Beware, though, a smaller pulley will cause the 'charger to generate more heat and could lead to premature failure of the unit. You may want to consider a water injection system to lower the intake air temps after the compressor.

If I had the SC'r I would be asking the same question.

I agree with the ISR mod and deckplate idea...since you have the URD kit, you may not have to worry about lean conditions, but you would have to confirm that with Gadget.

I heard a SC'd 4Runner take off from a light one time, and man it sounded sweet!

Do not know for superchargers but for turbos, adding a larger diamater exhaust pipe causes the turbo to whine deeper and louder.

Just a random thought.
