Yesterday we successfully disabled the E-locker 4-Lo safety. Tonight we replaced the problem tranny cooler hose, fixed the squeak in the air blower motor and fixed the squeaks coming from the factory hood bug deflector!

Took the air blower motor out & apart & greased it with silicon spray. Probably just a temp fix, but it's only about 3 screws anyway.

Hood bug deflector, same thing. The increased cold has increased the squeaks. Silicon sprayed the 4 rubber washers which are between the 4 screws (the ones holding it on) & the hood deflector. Squeaks are much, much less frequent now.

A happy evening, driving my 4Runner with only the steady hum of my muffler. Instead of growl, squeak, squeak, growl, squeak, squeak. Now there are no squeaks.
