2002 4unner is most likley one. It should say on a sticker under the hood. If not, crawl under and see how many cats - 2 = cali.

I just looked and I have 2. Is it possible for me to change the front 02 sensor myself on this model?

on the cali specs the front sensor is not a 02 sensor but air fuel ratio sensor.

I realized 1sttoyotaparts has the cheapest price for the front one.

While urd has the cheapest price for the rear.

Happy hunting good day.

Yes, but be very specific when you request the part. California model front of cat. They are not cheap. Are you sure you need it?

I got a code reading of P1135 which refers to bank#1 and sensor #1 and I have almost 70,000 mile on my 2002 4runner.

I was driving to work this morning and my check engine light came on with my trac and vsc lights, what else would it be?

Sorry I did not realize you were at 70k. Thats exactly when mine went also. I changed mine in about 10 minutes and all was well. Don't forget to disconnect the battery before you start. Shop around I did and saw prices that were over $100.00 apart.
