A/C pressure switch location
Hi.
I've a problem with my air conditioning and think the refrigerent may need recharging. Could anyone tell me where the pressure switch is and how to by pass it to check if the system is working in every other respect. I understand if the refrigerent is low the pressure switch activates preventing the compressor clutch from engaging.
Thanks.

i can understand you want to do some quick test but you oughta recharge it w/ a kit and try it. its a cheaper insurance than tryin to wear out ur compressors motor/pistons.
you can try it though, its ur car:
cant remember exactly where it is but its along the low-line (big line). two wire switch. not sure how the switch work at workin pressure, normally closed or normally opened. you can cehck it w/ a DMMeter. hope thats clear enough.
