which bumper would you get?

i am going to get either the badland front tube or the allpro front tube. I really want the bad land one b/c of the tubes that cover the grill and i like that look but it will cost 540 for the bumper and 190 to freight ship. The allpro is only 399 plus shipping with UPS which will probably be alot cheaper. the only thing i don't like about the all pro is that it is just flat on the top with nothing like a pre runner style or anything to it and doesn't have places for d-ring shackles. But the price better suits me with shipping and all.also the badlands weighs like 125lbs. is that a lot for a bumper weight? would that kill my torsion bars?the total price for the all pro with shipping better suits me. what would y'all do? and correct any of my info on these two bumpers if i got something wrong.
the badland is this one here: http://www.badlandbumpers.com/Index_...0tube%20a2.jpg
the allpro one is this one: http://www.allprooffroad.com/pics/6076.jpg
thanks, alan

125lbs?! wow, that is heavy. That's without a winch? I'd get the allpro one if those are the only choices.

I"d get the all-pro one, just because I don't really like the pre-runner look.

The badland is heavy - I don't have specs on the weight, but you can email Jeff at Badland and he can answer any questions you might have. I haven't done anything with my torsion bars.

I like the rear badland bumper too...

Have you seen the new winch mount Performance Products has from Four Real- Daystar?Looks nice & keeps the factory bumper,it's a little exspensive though I think. For the price they want I'd buy an ARB or Badlands.(of course I have an ARB)

I'm a little shocked about the weight of the bad lands bummper It is sweet looking though. I would almost suggest to bad lands that they should make it out of a lighter schedual of steel, maybe 4130 or something. I think alot of people are thrown off by just the shipping charges.

hey 89-4run, your rig looks awesome I've been thinking about getting a bug shield, how do you like yours? Does it fit the hood well? oh yeah, who makes it?

sorry if I hi-jacked the thread

870, the bugshield is a Lund. I've had it now for at least 7 years or so. I like and it seems to have done its job - keeping rocks off my hood. As for bugs, forget it I would prefer to get a bugshield that hugs the hood a little closer - I'm just too lazy to go lookin whats out there. Actually, I recently took it off - just sittin in my garage now...

FirstToy, thanks I have the first pic as my wallpaper at work. I stare at it all day long

I've had the dang badland rocksliders sittin' in my garage for 2 months now. I just need to get those suckas on!!

I'm a sophmore there right now, studying ME

edit: Back on topic, I would choose the first one, I don't like that hoop sticking out of the middle

If you want a slew of more pics of Jeff's stuff, I took all of these pics here the last few times I was at his shop.

The October folder has the new style like 89-4run has on his 4Runner.
