brake size revisited
Okay, I am confused.
My 98 4Runner (BASE!) came with 16" wheels. However, being the base, it could have had the 15" wheels from the factory. I am under the impression that all 4Runners with 16" wheels had the bigger calipers. BUT! Someone mentioned that the whole larger caliper issue is only for trucks that came stock with 16" wheels (limited's). Can someone please clear this up once and for all? I am about to buy rims, and if I can get 15's, I will.
I do not have abs, and I can not tell what is what here. Thanks!

My door jam said 15" wheels but it came with 16" and the larger rotors (SR5). To be safe I ended up measuring their diameter and comparing it to the diameter given online for the Brembos before I ordered them.
