Brake Question

it depends if it is a vacuum leak or a fluid leak
if it is vacuum then if i rember rightly if you switch off the engin and apply the brakes there is no change if it is ok but if you have a leak the pedel will travel slightly more each time.
but i could be wrong it is a ehile since i had that prob it could be the other way round
