Brake Drum Stuck - ?Damage
First off, I'm hoping that this posting actually belongs in this section. Too Many Changes!!!!
For the past several days I have been feeling a "dragging" feeling. So, I put the truck on jack stands and all the wheels turned freely except the passenger rear.
So, I tried to remove the brake drum - stuck tight!!! I tried to "undo" the adjusting cog through the access slot on the back. It wouldn't budge despite holding the lever off.
I put two bolts into the threads on the front and tried forcing it off. But, one of the shoes is getting caught on the lip. Question: If I continue to force the drum off with the bolts will I do any damage to anything critical or expensive??
Any other suggestions?? Thanks in advance.

it sounds as if your shoes have dug into the drum...(metal on metal) And the shoe (or lack of) is stuck in there.
Do you notice and grinding sound when braking?
I had this happen to me on my old 89 and it was a POS to get off!
You can try to keep pulling since you'll probably need new hardware anyways!
