I actually tried to get a black one when I bought it, but my options came down to a black one that was an auto, or my green one that was a manual. At that point the color stopped mattering, I have never driven an automatic and didn't plan to start. The green grew on me quickly and I am kinda glad I got it. Everything I put on it is black so if the truck was too it would just be a big black blob.
The total snorkel project is in the 300 buck neighborhood.

thanks for the kinds words guys! I know I know the tailights suck, the more I see em, the more I hate em, but oh well. Makes it different.
The gap sucks, but it allows me to reach my hand in and flip the spool in/out lever. also, the bracket was for a stock bumper and not the TJM. or at least I couldn't figure out how it would work w/ the TJM. I'm not too worried about it...

Nice work! Looks great. Hey, on a scale of 1 - 10, 10 being a big pain, how hard was the RB install?
I will be going with a RB B lift in the next couple weeks, and I just want to prepare myself. I was thinking 1.5 inches.
My only reason for the RB lift is to aid in the install of headers, looks, and slightly better app/dep angles.
Let me know. Thanks man!

If you have a hi-lift, or a lift like it(cheapie "farm tool") then the lift should take an afternoon. I give it a 4. real simple, only took me so long because I was trying to take the wrong bolts off!:pat:

I would say the body lift is about a 5 for the difficulty factor and only because of the time involved, at least for me. I was hesitant to do it at first, but reassured by the guy that helped me that it was pretty simple. It is very straight forward, just a bit time consuming, but with the proper tools and the right lifts/jacks, really pretty easy. You can read about my body lift install on my web site. We finished in less than 3 hours.
