At that point the color stopped mattering, I have never driven an automatic and didn't plan to start. The green grew on me quickly and I am kinda glad I got it. Everything I put on it is black so if the truck was too it would just be a big black blob.

The total snorkel project is in the 300 buck neighborhood.
Dave your 4Runner is totally cool. It's awsome. The biggest and badest 3rd Gen without a doubt. Looks great !

Mike @ Xtreeme had tail lights like that. After a few months of us telling him to put the stock ones back on, he got the 2001-2002 tail lights.

thanks for the kinds words guys! I know I know the tailights suck, the more I see em, the more I hate em, but oh well. Makes it different.

The gap sucks, but it allows me to reach my hand in and flip the spool in/out lever. also, the bracket was for a stock bumper and not the TJM. or at least I couldn't figure out how it would work w/ the TJM. I'm not too worried about it...

That truck looks great adding the snorkel and body lift. Might as well start shopping for tires and wheels tho. Gotta fill up all that fender gap...

Nice work! Looks great. Hey, on a scale of 1 - 10, 10 being a big pain, how hard was the RB install?

I will be going with a RB B lift in the next couple weeks, and I just want to prepare myself. I was thinking 1.5 inches.

My only reason for the RB lift is to aid in the install of headers, looks, and slightly better app/dep angles.

Let me know. Thanks man!

If you have a hi-lift, or a lift like it(cheapie "farm tool") then the lift should take an afternoon. I give it a 4. real simple, only took me so long because I was trying to take the wrong bolts off!:pat:

Christian,

I would say the body lift is about a 5 for the difficulty factor and only because of the time involved, at least for me. I was hesitant to do it at first, but reassured by the guy that helped me that it was pretty simple. It is very straight forward, just a bit time consuming, but with the proper tools and the right lifts/jacks, really pretty easy. You can read about my body lift install on my web site. We finished in less than 3 hours.

Thanks Brian. I remember you telling me about your install. I just wanted to get another opinion. I am sure I can handle it. I am kind of excited about it actually. The headers are going to be fun part.
