body lift

i am considering a body lift 3'. i was wondering for those who did it themselves, how bad was the installation and how long did it take? I want to try the summit racing lift kit, but they say it may require welding. Any opiinons on what to go for?

The body lift of choice is 4Crawler Offroad . The page explains very thouroughly what is involved in a 3" body lift. You would probably want to do a drivetrain lift or short throw shifter kit also so that you can still reach your transfer case lever. You will have to legnthen your steering shaft and fuel filler neck. YMMV.

Welcone to the forums!!
