Was board today...so

After six years with the deckplate mod i decided to do the elbow mod. Did some listening after doing it. With the elbow removed and the deckplate closed it doesnt sound nearly as loud. Then i decided to cut off the bend piece and reinstalled it so its getting air from the fender area...even quieter. Mind you i also have a Airaid MIT. I know there are many topics about this because ive searched.

I have the same, MIT + elbow removed. The airbox seemed close enough to the fender to not warrant butchering my stock tube. Granted it will just sit in my garage for the next 10 years, it's still nice to have the option to go back. I did the deckplate on my old tacoma and i decided not to do it again due to the hot air intake.
