Bad axle seals, how safe to drive?

So, I've got bad rear axle seals on both sides of my car, I wont be able to fix them for another two weeks, how safe is it for me to drive my 4runner until then? It looks like it has gotten into the brakes but I've not really noticed any difference in the brake performance. So will I be able to safely go the next two weeks without replacing the seals and rear brake parts or should I do it now?

I have been driving the same way for about as long as you plan to and the brakes still work well. I have been sure to check the oil level in the axle housing every once in a while and add a bit whenever it gets low. If you think your axle bearings are still good then I wouldn't drive it, the gear oil has washed out the grease in mine and I can hear a whirring noise @ 50mph now. If you are going to replace the bearings, you should be fine as long as you make sure that you are not running too low on oil.

Okay, I've just got some oil and plan on adding some tonight and then taking it with me (I'm actually moving ~2 hours away for school, but will be home in 2 weeks) I was planning on changing out everything back there just in case anyway since parts aren't extremely pricey (I don't think, I'll reprice them when I get back home tonight).
