Bilstien Shocks and Struts

Just installed Bilstien HD shocks and struts over the weekend. These were the OE replacement equipment. However I've noticed I have a inch of increased clearance.
My question is: Will the shocks / struts settle?

Perhaps you mean lift? Sounds like your OEM stuff was worn slap out.

I think so... After years of hauling karts and motorcycles, my suspension said uncle. The ride is winning!

somewhat normal. Normally though bad shocks won't provide lift, just new springs. But I did gain a slight amount as well on my BMW using the old springs and new Billy HD's in 4 corners. This was on a 1992 BMW with 235k on it and still the original struts and shocks.
