Bilstein shocks, is this normal?
i just changed shocks to Bilsteins and everytime i go over a very small bump on the road i hear thumping sound from the front suspension like something underneath is clunking. it doesnt happen for speedbumps. Any clue anyone?

on upper mount of front suspension, the rubber bushing go in with the shocks or out of the suspension support(round metal )? I might have one of the bushings on wrong on driver's side, because i see a slack up top and the retainer moves up and down about 1inch....very bad..I'm taking it in next week, it shouldnt really be a problem driving around but man I hate when this happens.

The bils are ery tight shocks so they are a bit stiff on the bumps.
Replace the rubber sway bushings with urethane....will help stability and stand up to the jarring.
