Billy wheelin da 4th gen...dope pics

Hey all-

Here are just a few quick ones from a little cruise this afternoon. The runner is getting wrapped up. The 22's with the black powder coat go on tomorrow, then a few more minor suspension changes, complete stereo reconstruction, and then the blower. Enjoy, hope you all had a great weekend.

Kickass pics man, nice to see a 4th gen getting dirty

I'm guessing you're just using the 22's for street use?

I like your Runner man

Nah, the 22's got 2 layers of black powder coat and two layers of clear. They are gonna be mounted on a 325/50R22, which gives me about 6+ inches of sidewall. I'll be wheelin em tomorrow asap...but will definitely swap back to the 315/70R17's for any brutal stuff. Thanks for the comps...peace.

Uh...i just kept driving...was there something else that was supposed to happen?? Approach and departure angles are very good, and ground clearance is nearly 15" in the front, and 13" under the center of the rear axle...i hope that helps.

lee & mgspann-

First of all, thanks guys. The skid in the pics is just a taco/tundra/3rd gen "Highlander" 4Runner factory skid plate. I just made some brackets to adapt it to my ride. There are usually quite a few of them for sale on ebay for $100 or less. It honestly is not that strong, essentially just for looks to be straight with ya. If you need help locating one, just let me know.

I'm gonna get a bunch of pics and info together one of these days as soon as I finish my architectural thesis. Just a little overwhelmed with school right now. The 22's will be on this afternoon though, I'll try to get a couple shots up. Keep up the positivity...until next time...

Lee-

Nope, that is the stocker. Do you want me to get ya one?...hit me back asap with your mailing address(not a P.O. BOX) and I will get one shipped your way asap. We can worry about the $$ later. It will be a direct bolt on for your vehicle. I could have one to you by the end of the week. Let me know.

I do know that you will have to do some modding with the bottom of your brush guard to make it work(most likely at least)...just keep me posted.

yea i actually saw it.. and it scares me!

i dont like my guard enough to invest all that mess.

i might just cut into the grille and move my fogs in there and remove the guard all together. i need some time though to build up the cash!

Fink, thanks a ton bro. Hey, in my opinion, every 4runner is a great ride, no matter what generation it is. From your sig it appears you have a very nice one yourself. It isnt worth keepin up w/ me...save your $$$...ok, maybe not

Have a good one.

Billy, What did you do to anchor your lights to your bumper? Was thinking of doing the same thing.
