Talking "BIG" day for me

Changed front and rear diff fluid, as well as t-case to synthetic (Mobil1). Removed and cleaned breather while I was at it (went through some water crossings and just wanted to make sure it didn't get gunked up).
Changed oil (removed skid plate for the first time.. it was a LOT cleaner to do oil change with it off!).
Rotated tires and checked brake pads and shoes.. at 15k miles, pads/shoes look BRAND NEW!!
Checked all fluids, belts and boots.
I think that was it.
Considering that this is the first vehicle I'm doing my own maintenance on, I feel pretty good about myself now

HUGE thanks to Bob for an awesome right-up on diff fluid change. It made the whole process quite painless!

ERC,

That made my day! Too bad my Korean clients never express appreciation like that. My blood pressure would be significantly lower if they did.

I'm going to change my manual transmission fluid too. Since you have a 2002, you'll have to find a good place w/ the right T-tech machine to do yours. Go check out Gadget's page. He explains it really well.

ERC, if you cleaned your rear diff breather, why not extend it? Type R rear diffs are the best. Ask anyone here http://www.4runners.org/articles/typerdiff

Bob knows Diddly!

The more I am on here the more I see that one thing is for sure...

Bob knows it all! or at least remembers where to look for it!

Thanks Bob for all your superb write-ups! With instructions, even us engineers can build things right the first time!
