Red face Best Spring/Strut choice

As I have all the other new front Suspension Parts.

2000 Tacoma 3.4 4x4

I know it would be much cheaper to just replace the struts but I would just as soon not mess with removing the springs and taking things apart.

Years ago I would have not hesitated to buy Moog now it seems there quality has gone down hill

I can get Napa and Rancho Quick struts for about the same price.

At 200,000 miles I think they could stand to be changed.

I can live with a slight lift but don`t need any at all.

Any thoughts on the matter.

Thanks

Wheelers offroad. The whole shebang. They will put the springs on for you for a price.

I've done this to both the Taco's I've owned. You will be very happy, and it took me about 4-6 hours to install by myself.

I'm in the process of putting Bilstein 5100s on my 98. Rears are on, old fronts with coils are off. Taking them to town this coming week to have a shop deal with getting the coils swapped over, then I can put the fronts on when I get back.

Even at my level, rears only took an hour. I had Pb Blaster on there for a couple days.

Once the fronts are on and I get a chance to drive around, I'll be able to say how I feel about them. Truck is really new to me, though, so I don't have a great baseline to compare from.

I'm just keeping the old coils.

Wow the Ball joints were easy only real problem was the cotter pins not coming out.

What a pain to get the top strut bolts every one broke loose and the nut and bolt would just spin.

Two I could get with the the 4.5" Grinder and a zip disc.

The other one I had to use the dye grinder and carbide burr.

This is why I did not want to mess with changing parts I would have had to wait to get new top bearings

I did go with the Monroe ones.
