you should you'll see a difference right away. I lasted one day without them and I had to go to the stealership and order them asap.

TexanTaco, I know exactly what your talking about. I think that's why I have such an attraction to the runner and taco's is because of some twisted childhood fantasies when I played with my truck toys

I thought all monochrome paint Runners shod with the Limited's wheels in '99 were all Highlanders/Sport models;did your's lose the scoop or was monochrome paint available on other SR5s?

I'm not sure. My car is the highlander edition and when I first got it I was trying to figure out why my car didn't come with a scoop.

But I'm fairly certain someone on here has my exact car combo-no hood scoop and leather. According to what I've read about highlander editions my combo is impossibly to have so it could also be my hood was swapped out. I will get the hood someday soon

Exactly, and now our trucks are grown up toys. I remember we had some kind of offroad/canyon thing for our Stompers with a suspension bridge, I think that was a big influence on me.

4Runners aren't "cars".

I think somebody may have done a hood trade with somebody with scoop envy.

If mine looked like yours to begin with, I wouldn't have done all the mods and would've saved a boatload of money. I love your ride!!! Like everyone else says, i think a scooped hood would be the only addition I would make.

What did yours look like to begin with? Couldn't have been to much different? So you wouldn't have done the supercharger or what exactly? Thanks for the compliments and I think I might just breakdown and get the hood at the stealership.

I'm talking about my lift. Mine is a '00, and had the shorter coils on it from the factory. The lack of ground clearance was clearly noticeable when I compared it to other stock 4Runners. This motivated me to do a complete suspension upgrade. As far as the supercharger, I absolutely love it but with gas prices the way they are I would stay N/A for as long as you can!!! Here's a pic before my lift

I can understand the lift. I don't think I'll do the supercharger simply because of the premium gas it will require. what kind of mpg are you getting? so let's see an after pic
