I hope this is not a repeat post (I did search, but didn't find anything), but is the bed lengh the same on an '89 ext. cab pickup vs a "99 ext. cab pickup? I know someone who just bought a '99 and wanted to use the shell from her old truck.

I would assume it is the same, but then again, my '83 shortbed was an inch shorter than newer ones.
