BBS's are on! Update, added OME lift today! (pics)

OK, so they fit! I haven't seen em on another 3rd gen yet so it was a bit of an experiment but on paper they looked to fit.

They are 17x8 BBS RD (came on some Tundras in 20" and FJ's in 17") w/ 4.76 bs and weigh in at 28lbs, I'm running a 265/70 Toyo AT, the whole wheel/tire weighs in at almost 67lbs and is only about 1/2" shorter then my old set up.

My old set up was LC 16x8 w/ 4.5 bs and a 255/85 which weighed only 21lbs! w/ Wild Country AT. The rim/tire weighed in at 65lbs each.

I like the look but may go with 1" spacers and def will paint them black. So far ride and handling are about the same as my old set up, maybe a hair more slugish and softer/nicer...maybe. I did have my old tires aired up to 40psi though to get better mpg's.

Here are a cpl quick phone pics (1" BL in pics).... OME shocks/springs, spacers and paint are next.

Bigger pic...you can see the lip better...

With lift, bigger tire might look better....will start with 1" wheel spacers first:

Ride is real nice, gained 2", pretty happy with it! (Thanks Jason!)

2yrs is pretty good..... I didn't think it fade so I didn't spray clear over it (already did it yesterday), wonder how long it will hold w/o clear? We'll see.... I would have just painted them but I'm still not a 100% committed to these rims.
