Battery drain from turn signals?

Battery drain from turn signals?

I noticed that when I turn either of my signals on the battery gauge goes back and forth...is this normal? MAN I NEED TO GET AN OPTIMA BATTERY!!

It is normal, and an Optima battery won't get rid of it (or at least not much). But get one anyway.

Me too! I think it's kind of funny though

Here's a thread that discusses this common 'problem':
Battery gauge needle dancing

At some stage I'll get around to looking at mine... I might try a few different capacitors in parallel with the gauge and see if it smooths out the sensitivity.
