bad fuel mileage with elbow off mod
I did the mod where you take off the elbow off the air filter housing and also installed the amsoil filter, however I get less miles per gallon now and I really don't feel any more power than before, I reset the ecu fuse too, any advise?
By the way I have a 97runner ltd, 3.4

If I remember correctly, it's the EFI fuse you want to reset.
As far as gas mileage goes - is it cold where you are? That's going to make a very large difference.
I think your altitude makes a difference too.
Either way, the good thing is you took the reversable method so if you don't like it you can just undo what you did
Try searching on deckplate and mileage - that might help you out.

My mistake, it was the efi fuse that I reset and yes I'm in the northeast and it is very cold.....I didn't know that the cold had anything to do with it....thanks.
