Backspacing Question
If this isn't the right place for this question, please move it.
I am ready to order my 4" Superlift Suspesion for my 89 Toyota 4x4 and the only thing left to figure out is the tire/rim combo. I have some black American Racing steelies installed on 32x11.50x15s but I wasn't sure of the size of the rim. I went to a tire store and they came out and measured the rim and it's actually a 15x10 . I was expecting a 15x7 or 15x8. However, the tire shop couldn't tell me what the backspacing is on the rim. I've had the tires off before and didn't see any stamps on the rim to indicate it. Is there any way to physically measure the backspacing of the rim? I'd like to get this done today so I can order, and hopefully not have to buy new rims. I'd like to assume since they are 15x10s they are probably 3.75 or less backspacing, but I need to be absolutely sure.
Thanks!
Bryan

Going from the rear of the rim measure from the hole that the hub would go through out to edge of the rim. That should give you the backspacing of your rim.

Flamed, thanks for the picture. I measured from the lower part of the back lip to the inside and it looks to be 3.75" which should be ok for the 33x12.50s I want to put on. Thanks guys!
