B&M Tranny Cooler Question

i did search but there is nothing with this part number. I found a B&M tranny cooler on ebay whch states it's part number 70255. Will this be alright for our trucks. I checked B&M's website and it says its for 16,000 GVW and the size is 11"x5-3/4"x3/4".

Thanks

Hey I can't say anything super-specific but there's room for that guy between our radiator and bumper... you'll be on your own for mounting, but it's usually just some zip ties.... If you want a tranny cooler I say go for it if it's cheap... run the hoses and ....... rig something up.... I'm not sure what the politically correct version of that phrase is yet.... I had a Hayden with threaded ends that I decided to bring back and wait on... But from what I hear and know lowering your tranny temp is cheap insurance (esp on a foreign vehicle) for replacing a tranny....

The only thing I can see wrong with this part number is that it appears to be a little thinner than the part number's that I found during my search. I'm just trying to find out if that is going to matter much.

the physical depth doesn't matter.... really all that you'll want to look at is the fitting size, which is almost guaranteed to be the same (industry standard)... slip out and do a quick measure/look for yourself... you'll probably agree you can get 'er done!

I gott the B&M works like a cooler is supposed to. Make sureyou buy the older style flat black one. The new ones (look like mini-intercoolers) are polished aluminum. They require adapters to hook it up, you're gonna spend $40 just buying the russle fittings making them fit. Go with the older style, it has simple male hose fittings
