Auto tranny observation in 01 Prerunner

Anyone ever noticed that the gear selecter pulls back slightly whenever you gas it, just though it was funny, also moves a tad with hard bumps, hope its normal.

Normal.
Hit some bumpy parts of a street and you'll see it move.

Yeah, my 98 auto did that. Same thing happens on 5 speeds, just a little different.

A tad? Drive south on the 405 and the thing looks like its gonna fly off.
