the info Im looking for mainly pertains to compressor wheel sizes for this engine's flow rate. Some have suggested the T04E-60.... Others say that's waaay too big and that a T3 stage family compressor wheel would be sufficient....
Anyone? Know any SRunner forums? Who might have expierence looking at these damn compressor maps and selecting wheels from the maps?

the thought crossed my mind....
Actually I'd get a brand new truck and would like to turbo it.
I actually read that through and through. Very educational, however I do have some questions. Our 4.0L only moves about 24lb/min at 5700 rpm and less than 9lb/min at 2000 rpm. This cant be far off the numbers for 4.3L v6 that the cy's and ty's have. How is it that the cyclone and typhoon owners can put such huge turbos on engines that barely out flow the 4.0L? I'd think the turbos would surge like mad unless they had some crazy boost control on their turbo setups.....
