I just thought I'd post this for everyone to see. I emailed Inland Trucks to find out about their complete suspension systems for my 1997 4runner, including the rear suspension, and here's what he initially replied with:

Dear Chris,

Our basic kit for the 4Runner front suspension consists of Sway A Way coil overs and out upper control arm kit.

Sway A Way coil overs = $729.00 + tax and shipping.
We know where we can get these cheaper!
Upper control arm kit = $380.00 + tax and shipping.

More advanced kit

Upper and lower control arm kit = $1520.00 = use up to 35" tires with extended fiberglass fenders, trimming and wheel well modifications.

Coil overs = starting at $529.00 x 2 = 14" of travel.

High Velocity axles $799.00 a pair.
He didn't answer all my questions, especially in reference to the rear suspension system they make, so there's more to come as soon as he emails me back.

Chris

ok guys he e-mailed me back about the group buy and if we want to do this the prices are as follows.

at 5-10 kits $360.00
at 10-20 kits $340.00
and
at 20+ kits $320.00
each price is plus shipping and tax if applicable, and are available without powder coat for $40.00 less per kit.

if this is something that intrests y'all let me know and i will see about getting some others involved in it. at this time do to being an out of work college student i don't think that i will be able to participate but if there is interest i will do all i can to facilitate this deal and will post it on other forums since i have been in contact with Inland already.

alright guys i will do more research into this and if we can get enough interest then i will see about putting this together. i am not sure how we can work out payment exactly since it needs to be payed straight to inland, i don't want to be a middle man, i just want to facilitate a good deal for everyone. so we are going to probably need a definite number for everyone and i will see about a date by.

That's a great question. Does this include bushings? And if not, what is the part number & do they need to be pressed in?

One of the pictures on their website shows the a arms and the bushings in a type of exploded view. Hopefully that means they do come with them.

i am still trying to get everything worked out with my contact there. since i am not officially a "dealer" i am not sure how exactly we are going to get it done, i do have a few ideas though. hopefully we will be able to set a deadline date and he will be ok with everyone calling him and paying him directly and shipping each set to the purchaser after a certain # of sets have been purchased.

I wanted to bring this back to the top because I had a question...

IIRC, there was actually a slight difference between the Taco Arms and the 4Runner Arms (I think sschaefer had them change the specs slightly?), and I was just wondering if they are building 4Runner- and Taco- specific arms?

Just found this...

Justin, if you can verify this, I may be down for the group buy, as well...

Thx,

when i bought my arms, they told me the Taco and 4R arms were identical. this wasnt true when they first started production, but they later made them identical.

so since they have been redesigned, do they still give an extra 1/2" of lift? Steve said when he got his, they did, but that was before they redesigned them(taco, and 4runner ones).

The correct ones do not give any lift.
