Z, whatever decision you make, first and foremost, you should address you cv boot issues. chances are, you've slung enough grease out of it, and probably accumulated enough dirt and grime in there to do some damage to them. The longer that goes, the more $$ you will pay. Back when those kits were offered, you had the option of purchasing the spiral type boot to go along with it to prevent what you have going now. I don't know if they worked or if they even still offer it, but honestly, the real way to correct this problem and probably the best way is to drop your diff. an inch or two to correct the drive angle of your shafts and/or another way also is to change out your hubs to man. hubs, that way you could "unlock" them keeping the front axle dis-engaged while doing normal driving. As an added bonus, you may save $$ on gas too by doing this......
