You know your bumper came with a license plate mount right? You don't need to use zip ties.

I don't know how to get it on haha. Like I said, poor instructions. I'm just gonna buy some new black nuts/bolts and mount it in the holes I have the zip ties going though.

It just bolts on right in the holes above the fairlead holes. Use the smaller bolts and nuts included.

Oh, yeah. Cause I got these 2 funky gold shaped pieces that look like they would maybe work for the license plate in some way, but I was stumped. Yeah I'm just going to bolt it on tomorrow.

The long skinny one is for the license plate. The other one, that bends over itself, is for the winch.

Okay, how does the long skinny one work though? I lined the 2 holes up for my license plate, but the opposite two holes are too close together to bolt up into any of the holes on the bumper, or am I missing something?

Okay, line up the two oblong holes with one of the two sets of small holes sorta between/above the cutouts to reach the winch mounts. Use two of the small bolt, washer, nut setups and bolt it to the bumper. Your going to have to wallow out the holes on the license plate a bit (i'm guessing cause Australian plates are different) then bolt it up and your golden. You can actually position the plate several different ways depending on your taste. A little more effort than zip ties, but it should look a little nicer, till you smash into something. Have fun!
