So I have been doing lots of reading about mufflers and such. The two that I see most recomended and that I like are the Jardine recomended by Dr.Z which is 2.25 inch pipe, or I can get a 18 inch Magnaflow and have 2.5 inch pipe installed--I like the idea of stainless. It would also be much easier to get a muffler down here. We get into deep water and some of my buddies jeeps tail pipes go up to there roofline with a flapper valve on top....

I live in Mexico and I know that straight pipes and such with out the cat are legal here---yes yes I know this is not politcally correct....but how can I get the most power? I will also be installing the safari snorkel at the same time.

 

Gringo...how in the heck does your rig not get stolen in Mexico? You put watchdogs on it?

 

If it does get stolen the local insurance company will give me $25k--wrecked beyond repair--$30k. At my house The cars are behind a steel gate with a doberman and a black lab......the thing is if somebody does steal it--I'm not sure where they will hide her--she sticks out....

 

Yeah a doberman! Enough said.
