ARB and Gears
Have this posted over on ttora, but figure id see what you guys have to say over here. thanks in advance.
2004 4x4 taco 3.4l manual.
Picked up a ARB front locker the other day while they still had the promotion going on. Was advised that i should replace my carrier bearing as well while i have it opened up before putting the ARB in, does that sound accurate? I have 83k on the truck not sure if its necessary or not to replace that. Im looking into getting gears as well, so i only have to open the front diff up once. Could use some opinions from you guys. I am currently running 32" tires but plan on switching over to 33" when these tires are shot and the funds are available. Im looking into getting 4.56's or 4.88's. Kinda torn between the two, would like to hear what some of you guys are running and how you like it. This is also my dd which is why im leaning more towards 4.56's. looking at this kit
