I had 265/75's on my stock '98 and never had any rubbing, but even though 265/75's are all the same "size" if you look at manufacturer's website's at the actual measurements, they will all be slightly different. My cheap 265/75's I had actually measuered just a hair over 29" tall once mounted. It will all depend on the tire whether it will fit or not, but if it does rub it will only be near full compression, and a body lift will fix it. They are much cheaper than a suspension lift, easy to install in your driveway, and will let you run tires that you otherwise could not. Having said that, I'm saving for a suspension lift as well as my BL.

Very True, and a valid point Cam!

my 265/75/16 Kumho A/T's measure out at an actual 31.7 inches. which is about the size of most manufacturer's 32" tire, but some like swampers, Iroks, and goodyear MTR's measure as much as 33.2 inches for a 32" tire, so it all depends.
On average, the more agressive the tire, the bigger the actual measurement will be.

A street tire 32" will usually be between 31" and 32"
An A/T tire in 32" will usually measure between 31.5" and 32.2"
M/T tires in a 32" will net you anywhere from a true 32" up to some just over 33".

Its always a good diea to get the actual measurement of the tire from the manufacturer.

Anyone know if goodyear mt/r tires will fit ok with the 99 springs? I'm looking at 265/75-16's now that I have the springs installed.
