Any member's input on the ease of the Satoshi mod?

Through yotatech.com I have researched the complications and installation of the Satoshi grille modification. I wanted to know any member's input or advice on the ease of the installation. What time of mesh is best and what procedures are the quickest or hardest? Thanks!

I wouldnt call the mod hard at all if you know how to paint and use basic tools. The fibreglassing is also not bad at all, just a good amount of sanding.
Its more of a time consuming mod dependant on how much of a perfectionist you are.
My goal when modifying or making something is to make people think its a factory part even when they look at the not in view areas.
For the mesh, I used some generic grille insert mesh from a ricer store, and cut and bent to fit.

X2 on the time factor. Lots of sanding, I have never done any fiberglass or bondo work but if you just work smartly and plan ahead there's nothing to it. I bought the gutter guard for a few buck from Home Depot and trimmed it. I already have all of the body work done and it's painted, just fitting the screen and emblem now.

I used gutter guard from Lowe's. Its really not a hard mod, just takes patience.

You don't need to do any sanding, bondo or fiberglass unless you want to follow the write-up to the letter...
