Just removed the factory running boards and am now left with the infamous gap beteen the fender flare and bottom of the body. I can't see spending the $35 or so per side for the splash guards to fill in the gap. Thinking maybe looking for used guards via salvage yard or maybe modding the part that attaches the running board to the flare. Any suggestions from those who have experienced this problem?
