Talking And another T15 goes on...

Specail thanks to Mike at Extreme Offroad for the group buy. I had to do a little modifying to accomodate my body lift, I trimmed a little off the bottom part of the brackets where it meets the bumper, and I was able to lengthen the slots on the bumper by just over an inch, left me with a gap of about 3/4" all around, doesn't look bad at all, especially considering I have a 2" body lift. I need to put some spacers under the PIAA's though, the grill on the lights hits the bumper before I can level them out.

Looks good Bill!

I installed mine this past Saturday. I have a 1" body lift but didn't take the time to extend the slots. I wanted to see if I could get away without hacking things up. I think it looks fine. The gap looks to be the same as yours pictured above. Not too bad.
Awesome bumper though! I've gotten lots of compliments already and have seen some heads turn. I'll post pictures too when I get some time.

Sweet, very very sweet. After a bit of a wait, mine arrived this afternoon, had to run home to meet the delivery truck. I am patiently biding my time at work so I can get out of here and git it on'!

OK, Mine is on too!

Finally did my bumper on Sunday. I too have the 1" BL and I didn't want the gap so I slotted the mounts on the bumper and not the frame. I then realized that inorder to clear the frame mounts (as a few of you have described) I had to grind a slot on each side of the lower bumper to clear the mounts. I really like how it turned out and I have had a number of compliments.

Todd, our ship will dock at Charleston Navy Yard behind the USS Constitution. We'll leave Florida tomorrow afternoon and get there by Friday morning. Hey, if you want to visit our ship just let me know. Our ship is USS BOONE FFG 28. We're also going to Gloucester on the 23 till 30th for the seafood festival. I'mm looking forward to these places since Iv'e always been stationed in the west coast.

Here ya go:

After looking at the pics I think I am going to extend the slots so I can raise the bumper up for a snug fit. Lights are on the way too.

Next mod is sliders because I got cocky this weekend driving through the woods and brushed my rear pass. door against a tree. No dents but some nice long scratches

Thanks again Mike, for doing the group buy
