Another Maglight Mounting

Another Maglight Mounting
I wanted a place to mount my rechargable Maglight other than beneath the front seat, yet keep it accessible. I chose the rear of the console, utilizing the ashtray unit as a mounting point.
I used an aluminum plate as a mounting surface for the quick-release Maglight mounting bracket and screwed it to the console.
The ashtray and cupholders are no longer accessible, but since nobody ever rides back there anyway, I accepted the sacrifice.
The power cord runs under the console and plugs into the accessory outlet.
Just another option to consider.

Sweet idea! Even better for my Taco since it wouldn't block anything on the rear of the console anyway (nothing there)! I can just use a plate inside the console to mount the bracket to from the outside.
