Another %$#*ing Cruiser Coil question

Here it is guys: I've been trying to do the cruiser coil lift thing for a while now. I got a set of coils off a 91 FJ80 and went to swap out with somebody so I'd have 2 short sides. I now find out that the coil I sent him was different from the one he had. Mine was round at the top and all the way down to the bottom coil that it sits on which is flat as you might be able to see in the pic (I'll try to get a better one tomorrow). His was round and I'm wondering if everyone elses was or what's going on here.

If It matters, I've found out that the FJ that mine came off of was 4wd but as for tow package and factory tire size.....who knows.

the springs are flat at the top where it rests on the frame, round at the bottom where it rests on the axle, they are upside-down in the picture from how you would install them. landcruiser coil is the far right one thats brand new
