Another fog light question!

Would you guys go with the Piaa 520's, 540's or Hella 500's in a fog light? These will be mounted on my 2002 Tacoma. I have always been a Hella man, so any input on the Piaa's would be great.

Thanks,

Martin

i have had the 520s and the hella 500s. both i think are good lights. my 520s were amber in color, but, as far as i can remember, they performed about the same to me. not to mention, the hellas are a a lot less expensive. the piaas though, did look very cool when they were mounted on my rig

Did you have the black or chrome 520's? How was the light about since they were the ion crystal bulbs?

Thanks. You just can't beat the value of the Hella's. I think I am going to stick with them unless I can be convinced other-wise.

I have the 520 fogs. Had them for about 5 years now. I recently had PIAA replace the housings for free due to a bit of rust (under warranty). I think the 540's are aluminum housings, so no rust problem. I had 959's that I sold recently. I had a pair of Hellas and didn't like the quality compared to the PIAA's (Hella micro fog cheapies though)

Cebby,

How is the light output with the Ion crystal bulbs compared to clear bulbs?
