How does it flex? Did you just pound the crap out of that thing or do you rub?

Ranma,
I guess I COULD fit 35s, but it would rub horribly. Espcially with the stupid Limited fender flares. I think I'm going to stick to 33s next time around as my truck is still my DD and I already get about 16mpg. The ride was barely affected at all, though I took my swaybar off a few weeks ago so it already handles like poo. So its all the same to me now. Haha...

flex isn't all that bad, we tested it out with a forklift when i got the tires. they rubbed on the pinchweld in the front, but some pounding worked for me.

You gotta see it in person. It made my 4runner look very small!

I would like to go to 285's when I do the BL, but I will probably wait.

I went with a RB 1" and the shift action is only slightly different. No extension needed on a 1". Second gear goes in differently after the BL; not bad, just different.

I dont understand how a body lift could ever effect how a standard shift goes into gear...unless there was a floor clearance problem that occurred

please give me some details, thanks

As you lift the body upward, it decreases the throw angle of the shifter because of how it goes "through" the body to the tranny. You'll see.

I honestly don't mind it. I just had to get used to it.

Thanks man!

I'm not sure when I'm going to get the bigger meats. I might ask for another set of wheels and tires for christmas then put the 285s on some alloys and get some 33" Destination MTs for the Tech1s. There is no way I can fit 35s because of my limited flares. Believe it or not the 285s are a little on the close side . I just don't want to have holes all over the side of my truck.

Now its time for some 33" Destination MTs! I kind-of like the way it makes the 285s look like my 265s when I did my first suspension lift. I also like the way I actually have to get UP into my rig... thats definately a first for me

Anywho... here are the pics:

Looks GREAT AUstin !

ROJO has by far the best looking runner that I've ever seen ! What size wheels are those? They look like 17"

I want some !
