am i crazy?

ok, so i was at my gf's parents house today helping her dad fix a few vehicles. 1 of which i had to tow out of a ditch. i put it in 4x4, hooked the tow strap up, and yanked it out of the ditch and up to the driveway so i could work on it. when i hit my gas, it felt like i had MORE power then when i was in 2wd NOT towing anything. is there any logic to this or am i just crazy. (i was in 4 low). is it possible that my 4 low is SOOO much more powerful that i can feel the extra power even while towing?

(by the way, i helped fix FOUR vehicles, 1 ford, 1 dodge, 1 jeep, and 1 GMC, got the entire big 3 covered for broken down vehicles! and her dad was very frustrated in the fact that not only could HE not fix them himself, but that he was having problems with ALL of his vehicles and that i NEVER have a problem with my yotas! I THINK I FINALLY CONVERTED HIM TODAY!!! HE WANTS EITHER A TUNDRA OR TACOMA!)

4low should give you twice the gear reduction than normal 2hi or 4hi so yes you should feel more power.

Yeah...4Lo will definately give you more power, thats its purpose. And thats good to hear that you got him to think about getting a Toyota, he'll be much happier in the end!
