Aluminum Dash Trim Kit

My current project is to try and spruce up my interior because I think that it is rather bland... nice, but bland. I was wondering if anyone has bought or seen these aluminum dash trim kits? To me it looks like it would be cool, but I don't want it to look cheap. Here's a link:

It's going for $120, which to me is worth it if it isn't cheap looking.

If anyone has any pics, post 'em!

a lot of people opt for jason burtman's accessories. high quality, fairly priced, and nothing but good comments. i don't have any myself but i know neliconcept has his carbon fiber trim kit, there's also a wood kit available (with matching wheel cover, wooo!)

This might sound a bit ghetto, but how about painting your trim pieces to a silver color?

My trim is "aluminum" that comes stock on the "Sport Edition", and all it is is painted plastic pieces.

I would totally go for the Burtman stuff, except that I'm looking for Aluminum specifically... I'm going for the sleek sporty look, and carbon fiber ain't my thang.

About painting... I actually am down with that, except that I'd be a little nervous that I'd make it look ghetto. I actually did that in my '86 Jeep Cherokee and it looked good, but then again it was an '86 Jeep, so painting anything would make it look better!

If I did go that route, what would the best paint to use be? How does it hold up over time with heat, impacts, etc.?
