You know its funny I never really liked the monochromatic look , and we own a 02 sport ed.(wifes)!!! Now I must admit yours is changing my mind , and by the time you are done I am sure I will be convinced that the mono look is where its at.
On a side note how come yo did not paint the sliders the same color? I am just a few months away from going to town on our 02 . I figured I would make custom front & rear bumpers , a new type of slider design , and possibly a roof rack. All of which I plan on spraying with PPG delstar in whatever that silver Toyota color is on our 4runner.

Again - looks great,
Richard S.

I thought about painting the sliders, and I still may, but I figured if anything is going to CONTINUOUSLY get scratched, then they would be it. With that said, it's much easier to touch up rattle can black that it is to touch up metallic red auto paint with clear coat...

Oh, and the update on ARB is they already sent out another blinker assembly since they shorted me one, and they are sending a new chrome hoop since the one I received has a ding in the top. They are also sending out my IPF fog lights. When they chaged the model number, they also dropped the price a little and made the fogs optional. When I ordered it, the fogs were included, and by the time they shipped, they had changed the package. Anyway, they are making good on it and sending me an ARB hat for my troubles... whoop-tee-doo. Anybody want an OFFICIAL ARB hat???

I'll take the hat.

When is the bumper going on?

Can wait to see the finished result.

uhhhh... NO. I can assure you by the EXTRA LIGHT feeling of my wallet that it DEFINITELY DOESN'T come with a FREE bumper... $1070 for the bumper + shipping... $170 for the IPF 900's new via eBay... $39 for a pint of reduced Sunfire Red paint... Add for the winch with synthetic rope and I'll be REALLY LIGHT in the wallet...

I would have never been able to spend that much if I didn't have that accident back in December and did the rebuild myself. I got $3600+ for the damage and the brush guard, then bought a hood w/scoop and did the fender repair and all the painting myself along with the ARB and lights. I ended up with about $1200 left over after adding the scooped hood and the ARB with lights...

I wish. I actually have to hold onto it for a while since I was laid off from my job last week. The ARB was already special ordered and was on it's way when it happened or I would have cancelled it for now... $210 a week in unemployment isn't gonna cut it... Anybody know of any Chemical Engineering jobs for someone with exclusively Food Industry Experience... I didn't think so. I'm actually shooting for a techinical sales job, but it may be a while before I land something. Until then, I'm putting on my "apron" and playing stay-at-home-dad and doing some odd jobs for cash on the side...

WOW! That looks amazing! For some reason, Waskilly's rig reminds of a Landcruiser.

Hey guys, I'm posting the ARB hat up for grabs in the For Sale section. Highest bid posted by April 1st gets it. ALL of the money will go to Camp Smile-A-Mile. It's a Children's Cancer Camp here. I'm going to match the donation to double it as well. I had stage 3-B Hodgkin's Disease when I was a senior in High School, so I know what some of them are going through. Anyway, it's a worthy cause, so if you want an ARB hat, you'll be helping a kid with cancer.
