Hey Bama, do you have any pics of your doors with the cladding off? Just wondering how hard it would be to upgrade to the newer 3rd Gen. look with just the flares and no cladding.

I didn't take them off. I didn't have to. I carefully masked off the metal door and sprayed them on the truck. That's a natural panel change just like the flares so that's the obvious place to mask off to paint.

BTW- I got a call from ARB today. They already have a blinker assembly on the way to me and are shipping the fogs to me today at no charge. They are also sending me a new chrome hoop since the one I received was dinged. They were really nice about it and are doing everything possible to make sure I'm satisfied. I AM.

The problem with removing the cladding is that it's held in place not just buy 3M tape but also has tabs/screws drilled in the doors so you'd have to fill holes.

Question

I remember seeing some picts of your initial paint job.. I thought it looked kinda clumpy and It looked uneven IMO. but I have to say that looks really Sharp! Did you paint it yourself? or did you take it into a shop? Also your bumper was it chrome originally? you got any front pictures? I want unicolor 4Runner!!!

I didn't think the arb would look good red. But after you put that hoop and lights on, it looks kick a$$.

I think you have enough praise for how your rig looks but here's another one. AWESOME!!! Its so nice I would think twice about taking it off-road. Well almost. I can't wait to see it with the ARB on.
