all pro bumper question

hey guys, i am looking to buy an all pro rear bumper soon and was curious about some things.

1. does anyone know how much the bumper weights
2. does it attach too the frame..the site recommends spot welds but i assume you can attach it too the frame until welder is available?
and a stupid question...3. 'unpainted' does that mean black or does that mean the silver metal color?

i think thats all, i might have more questions later. any answers would be nice, thanks in advance ~kyle

1. Not sure on specifics, but it was lighter than the stock bumper and the tow package it replaced.

2. Direct bolt on. 2 or 3 bolts on each frame rail. Welding reccomended if actually towing or doing any hardcore recoveries. (same with front bumper)

3. Bumper was just bare metal, no powdercoat. (They have an option to powdercoat their taco bumpers, maybe they can powdercoat the 4runner bumpers too now. Wouldnt hurt to ask.)

I guess the reason why it looks thicker is becuase I gave mine a couple coats of herculiner insead of a rattle can paint job. I figured itll hold up better, be easy to touch up and have better grip since im always using it as a step to load my kayak.

Im satisfied with the bumper so far. It can really take a beating. Its seen a handfull scrapes and a few hard hits. Good as new after a few strokes of the brush.

I wish it had a rear tire carrier but its not a big deal, I just stick the spare in the bed or on the roof rack. I tried uisng ahitch tire carrier but it didnt work out too well. It rattles way to much, even with an anti rattle clamp, it stuck out too far and it was also a pain to relocate the rear licence plate. It also made the rear sag more than usual.

I bought the all pro because of the price and convinience, since their shop is 50 min from my house and it was a bolt-on mod.
