Luckily thats all you got away with i.e.. damage wise. I take it by "cut my losses" dude didn't cover any of the damage costs? I wonder If he acknowledge'd the fact the fire was any of his fault......
Like I said If It happened to me, there woulda been a hot time in the old town that night!

good to know you found someone better, Vern was agood dude. But i guess not too good of a dude if he set the 62 on fire.
Vern is good if you babysit him, like I did when you were here. Right after your converion he hired one of the guys he used to do meth with and it was all down hill after that.

Within a month or so you could see he was screwing alot of stuff up. It's too bad because he is a good mechanic, if he's clean.

It's not a high point in my life. I was sitting in the drivers seat and all of a sudden all I can see is orange between the hood and cowl.

I got the garden hose and put it out.

That's even after I refused to give him any beer. Imagine if I would have let him have beer.

Mike Theil is great, he re-did all Verns work and re-built the entire engine.

No he did not pay for the headliner and he did not pay me back for the rear ARB in his truck that I bought for the guy on my Credit Card.

He's a smooth player and I got played.

It is a shame. He was doing really well, but then slipped. I just can't have myself and family around that kind of stuff.
