Alarm Issues
I recently bought a 2001 4Runner SR5 and am having trouble with the factory alarm system. For some reason, the alarm goes off without provocation. Sometimes it's the warning tone (three/four quick horn blasts). Sometimes its the intrusion tone (horn blasts and headlights blinking). BTW, it doesn't happen in valet mode.
What's the deal with my alarm? Any way to fix it?
